The new Daihatsu Copen is selling like hot cakes! Order books for Daihatsu's new K-roadster have reached 4,000 in just one month after it started taking them, which is equivalent to six times its monthly sales targets.

The new Copen is powered by a 660 cc turbocharged KF engine, producing 64 hp and 92 Nm of torque. There's an optional LSD, and power is sent to the front wheels. It measures 3,395 mm long, 1,475 mm wide and 1,280 mm tall. For rainy days, you have an electrically-controlled two-piece folding hardtop.

One unique feature of the Copen is that the body panels on its D-Frame chassis can be replaced by the owner in order to customise it to his or her liking. A total of 11 parts of the car can be replaced – this includes the front hood, luggage area, front/rear bumpers, front/rear fenders, locker and fuel filler lid.

Perodua is in the business of making basic transportation for now, but what if they started selling something like the Copen too? Would you be interested in one?
