Good news for the upcoming Raya celebrations. Road users travelling during the festive period can expect discounts on highway toll rates, The Star reports.
Works Minister Datuk Fadillah Yusof said 23 highway concessionaires had agreed to provide incentives to road users in the form of free tolls, discounts and rebates. Maju Expressway (MEX) is waiving toll fares for motorists on July 28.
PLUS, which operates five highways including the North-South Expressway, will be offering a 30% discount for Class 1 vehicles using the Electronic Transfer Card (ETC) on July 23-24 and July 30-31.
