It looks like the Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class is due to be launched soon. Just earlier this month our regular contributor Anol Alias sighted a CLA 200 at JPJ Putrajaya for type approval.
This week a trailer-load of the car has been sighted by reader Chua Yang Chong. The cars are all of the front wheel drive CLA 200 variety - so far no CLA 250 has been sighted, and all the grey import cars we've seen are CLA 220 CDI AMG Sport models, which are powered by diesel engines.
In fact, reader Warhead Abraham sent in a photo of him posing with a CLA 200 at Mercedes-Benz official dealer NZ Wheels, so if you want an early peek perhaps you could head there.
From what we've seen so far, the specs on all of these official distributor CLA 200 are consistent - equipped with the Urban equipment line, a dual tailpipe exhaust system, and the Night package, which is identifiable by the black wing mirror caps and high-gloss waistline trim strip. Wheels are two-tone twin-spoke 18 inchers wrapped with 225/40 tyres.
