It's about time! We already have the A-Class and CLA-Class (along with their 45 AMG derivatives); all we need now to complete the triumvirate is the GLA-Class, spotted here on a trailer by reader Syafiq Saif.
The cars appear to be GLA 250s, fortified with 4Matic all-wheel drive, AMG Sport bodykits and the Night Package, which gives them gloss black trim on the wing mirrors and dechromed window frames.
We contacted Mercedes-Benz Malaysia to find out if these cars were theirs or grey-market importers', and they responded that they were "very excited" about the new model. We take that as a yes, then.
The GLA-Class is a crossover based on the W176 A-Class' platform. It debuted in August 2013, and the GLA 45 AMG in January 2014.
