Before any prospective buyers head out to book the 2014 Nissan Teana, they can go see the car in person at selected shopping malls across the peninsula from now until June 1.

The D-segment sedan will be on display at the following locations:

  • Bangsar Shopping Centre, Kuala Lumpur (till May 18)
  • Mahkota Parade, Melaka (till May 18)
  • KSL Mall, Johor Bahru (May 19-25)
  • Alamanda, Putrajaya (May 21-25)
  • Publika, Kuala Lumpur (May 21-25)
  • Queensbay Mall, Penang (May 29-June 1)

As previously reported, the Teana is powered by either the MR20DE 2.0 litre four-cylinder engine producing 136 PS at 5,600 rpm and 190 Nm at 4,400 rpm or the new QR25DE 2.5 litre four-pot making 173 PS at 6,000 rpm and 234 Nm at 4,000 rpm. Both engines are mated to an Xtronic CVT. Trim levels on offer are the 2.0 XE, 2.0 XL and 2.5 XV

No matter which variant you punt for, you will get push-button ignition, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control and rear air-conditioning vents, while safety kit includes Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), traction control, ABS with EBD and Brake Assist, hill-start assist as well as six airbags (front, side and full-length curtain airbags).

Climbing up to the 2.5 XV will net you adaptive bi-xenon headlights, a nine-speaker Bose Premium Audio System, a sunroof, a powered rear windscreen sunshade and 17-inch alloy wheel shod with 215/55 tyres.
