Need for Speed 1

If you're feeling a need, a need for speed, then you're in luck, because as announced back in May, the franchise is back and it looks like it will be bigger than ever! Aside from custom tuning which we love, the new Need for Speed video game will feature street culture legends whose names you might know.

On the list includes Magnus Walker - the bearded, dreadlocked, cap-wearing Briton renowned for applying his finishing touches on classic Porsche 911 models. His very own signature 1972 Porsche 911 STR II will be making an appearance in the game.

Then we have none other than the Gymkhana-king, Ken Block who will have his custom-built Hoonicorn RTR 1965 Mustang featured. We do hope we can emulate what Mr. Block does in his videos though. Next up, Akira Nakai-san, Japanese Porsche-tuning specialist who is exalted for his Porsche Rauh Welt Begriff 964 Targa.

Fourth on the list - Risky Devil Richard "Fish" Fisher, part of the Risky Devil Chicago Drift crew, who will also have his tricked-out drift-worthy Subaru BRZ making an appearance while last up, Morohoshi-san, the self-styled Yakuza renowned for cruising the highways of Tokyo in his Lamborghini Diablo SV.

These legends have been divided to feature in five different modes: Outlaw, Style, Build, Speed and Crew. Check out the videos after jump on how these characters will be playing a role in the game. The new game is due on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One before the end of 2015. Last-gen console owners, it's time to upgrade.
