The NanoEnergy 3 is Toyo's latest passenger car tyre to hit the Malaysian market. Backed by the tyre company's almost 70 years of expertise and experience, NanoEnergy 3 is an eco-friendly tyre that aims to increase your car's mileage and help you save fuel while providing a comfortable ride.
Tall order, you think? Well, to achieve all that, Toyo deploys what it calls Nano Balance Technology, which takes tyre design back to its very origins - the material, at molecular level.
Analysis, simulation, design and production at nano levels help develop a compound with increased amounts of silica and active polymer, giving you a tyre that strikes a balance between low rolling resistance, wet grip and wear life.
NanoEnergy 3 features a new technology known as Silent Wall - tiny serrations in the tyre tread groove walls disturb air flow, reducing pipe resonance and resulting in a quieter ride.
Then there's Multi-Wave Sipes - thin zig-zag slits in the shoulder block interlock under traction and braking force, keeping more of the tread in contact with the road. This allows improved wet and dry performance as well as reduced uneven wear and noise.
Development and manufacturing is equally cutting-edge. An advanced simulation technology called T-Mode is used to simulate virtually every variable of vehicle dynamics, surface and driving condition (including slalom, braking, aquaplaning, vibration or even roll-over).
Also, an automated production system called the Advanced Tyre Operation Module (A.T.O.M.) helps to maintain consistency and high quality.
Toyo's NanoEnergy 3 comes in sizes ranging from 175/65 to 235/45, for 14-, 15-, 16- and 17-inch rims.
