This is the Lexus RC F GT3 Concept the Japanese carmaker is bringing to the upcoming Geneva show. Developed to meet GT3 international racing standards, the concept racer is powered by a tweaked version of the RC F's V8 engine.

With around 540 hp on tap to move 1,250 kg around, the Lexus RC F GT3 Concept boasts a power-to-weight ratio of 424 hp per tonne. It is yet unknown exactly what modifications have been done to the engine. The production RC F's 5.0 litre V8 already offers over 450 hp.

Lexus has announced that it will supply FIA GT3-compliant vehicles to racing teams from next year, with vehicle testing to begin this year. Such vehicles are eligible for many racing events including the 24 Hours of Nurburgring, Super Taikyu Endurance and Super GT series (see Lexus LF-CC racer).
