An RHB research report has revealed that five new Mazda models are scheduled to arrive in Malaysia in the next three years, beginning with the new Mazda 2, expected in the fourth quarter this year.

That's quick, considering the Hazumi Concept (pictured), which is meant to point towards the next-gen Mazda 2, has just shown up at the ongoing Geneva show. The report adds that the new B-segmenter will be built in Thailand and be available in sedan and hatch bodystyles. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the vehicle will have SkyActiv tech.

Another revelation is that the new assembly facility located within Inokom's Kulim plant is expected to be fully commissioned next month, on schedule. Trial production has already begun, and by the end of this year, production capacity should reach 20,000 units per year.
