The McLaren MSO 650S Coupe Concept has been unveiled, demonstrating the upgrades provided for the 650S Coupe and Spider by McLaren Special Operations (MSO), McLaren Automotive's bespoke division.
Shown throughout China over the coming weeks, the concept features a number of subtle tweaks designed to let owners stand out from the pack. The side blades have grown to wider, full-length satin carbon fibre items that increase aerodynamic efficiency, while the rear gets a more aggressive GT3-inspired diffuser. These items are available to order now from dealers, and can also be fitted onto the 12C.
The rest of the carbon fibre parts also feature a satin finish, as do the black lightweight alloy wheels. The Agrigan Black paint is unique and features deep ruby red metallic flakes that changes the colour of the paint in direct sunlight.
The interior, on the other hand, is fitted with the optional P1-inspired fixed-back carbon fibre seats that shave 15 kg off the 650S' 1,330 kg dry weight, upholstered in carbon black leather. Satin carbon fibre trim is found throughout the cabin, contrasted with gloss black switchgear and bezels.
