The upcoming Perodua Myvi variant called the Myvi XT, which was first teased through the company's website, has broken cover - aside from an ad on oto.my, reader Faiz Fadil spotted a transporter load of XTs near Klang, easily identifiable through their Lime Green and Dazzling Red exterior shades. Not long to go before it's launched then.
An earlier ad listed changes to the alloys (the spied vehicles wear a five-spoke design wheel) , front grille and seat fabric design for the XT, and the instrument dial rings and centre cluster are now apparently silver-painted. The previous ad speculatively listed the price at RM42,500, but the latest oto.my one has it at RM44,000.
Word is that Perodua is also set to introduce an improved version of the Perodua Myvi Extreme at the same time the Myvi XT makes its debut, and the new Extreme will be getting coil mats, security film, a new leather seat cover and red multimedia illumination for new bits.
Like all Perodua models, the new Myvi variants should come with a three-year/100,000 km manufacturer's warranty and optional two-year/50,000 km extended warranty, plus three years' free service.
