Mercedes-Benz A-Class facelift

Sometimes it takes a new car to bumble along to remind us how time flies - can you believe the beauty queen that is the W176 Mercedes-Benz A-Class has roamed the planet for close to three years now?

So it's time for a refresher course, as these spyshots from Europe show. At first glance, you'd be forgiven for thinking that the good folk in Stuttgart simply didn't bother, but the tell-tale signs are in the taped-up bits, which are the head and tail lamp units, as well as the front bumper.

We expect LED headlamps to feature, along with a new front bumper that seems to bring with it an inverted-trapezoidal lower intake and possibly reshaped fog lamp housings. The tail lamps should get new graphics, too. We wonder if there will be any updates inside or underneath.

Meanwhile, take a trip back in time with our 2013 local launch report and exhaustive review from Slovenia.
