toyota-auris-facelift-2015

The Toyota Auris facelift has been unveiled ahead of its debut at the upcoming 2015 Geneva Motor Show. Echoing the changes seen on the recently revealed Toyota Avensis, the refreshed compact is shown here in both hatchback and touring form, albeit only in its Hybrid guise.

Then again, it makes sense that the Auris Hybrid is the only presented for now as it accounts for half of all Auris sales in the year 2014. Little else is known regarding technical upgrades, with Toyota only going as far as to confirm that the range will include "a new petrol and diesel line-up."

From the images released, we can see that the facelifted Toyota Auris sports a redesigned front grille and a lower bumper with a slightly wider intake. Revised headlamps are also featured. With no rear image published, we can only assume that changes will be just as limited as the ones found up front.

Changes on the inside are a little more profound, however. A new touchscreen infotainment system is coupled to a set of mildly reworked centre console layout. A revised instrument cluster and circular outer air-con vents round off the changes on the inside.
