The 2015 Honda Jazz destined for the European market has been revealed prior to its debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show in March. Set to go on sale in the middle of the year, the third-generation B-segment hatch will possess a 1.3 litre i-VTEC engine from Honda's Earth Dreams Technology umbrella.
The mill produces a total of 102 hp at 6,000 rpm and is mated to either a six-speed manual or CVT transmission. For comparison, the Honda Jazz on sale here boasts a 1.5 litre mill that pumps out 120 hp and is paired only to a CVT gearbox.
Looks wise, nothing much differs between the Euro- and Malaysian-spec except for a lightly reworked front grille design, the addition of a rear wing and a shark's fin antennae. Inside, Honda's trademark Ultra Seats are featured - the ingenious seats can be configured into a variety of layouts, allowing owners to load a wide range of items. Cargo capacity is quoted at 354 litres with the seats up and 884 litres with the seats folded.
Elsewhere, a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system is offered with Honda's latest Honda Connect platform. It offers a variety of Internet-based services including web browsing, real-time updates on traffic, news and weather conditions as well as access to Honda's App Centre.
Safety kit on the Euro-spec Honda Jazz includes the firm's Advanced Driver Assist System safety umbrella - which comes as standard on all but the entry-level variant. The suite of safety features is comprised of a forward collision warning system, lane departure warning and traffic sign recognition capabilities.
