There have been plenty of special edition Fiat 500s, but none have paid homage to the original cinquecento quite like the Fiat 500 Vintage '57, which is set to make its debut in Geneva.
The modern interpretation dresses up the five hundred with a number of '50's-inspired detailing cues, the most prominent being the design of the 16-inch alloy wheels, the look a distinct nod to the ones seen on the original 500.
Anoraks will no doubt notice the unique Fiat logos used on the car - the automaker has plonked on the historical version for the front and rear badging, and they can also be found embellishing the wheel centres.
The retro adventure continues inside with a white dashboard, and the historic Fiat logo also makes its way on to the steering wheel boss. The interior for the edition features tan-coloured Poltrona Frau leather seats with ivory leather 'half-moon' inserts and a "500" embroidery done in tan.
The Vintage '57 edition - which is finished in pastel colours with a contrasting white roof, spoiler, antenna and mirror covers - will be available in 69 hp 1.2 litre and 85 hp 0.9 TwinAir turbo forms. Sales in Europe begin from April.
