Fuel prices for the month of July 2015 has been announced, and it's mostly bad news. We're hearing the new prices a bit late this time around because KPDNKK Minister Datuk Seri Hasan Malek has said that there will be no more prior public announcement of fuel price changes at the end of the month. Price changes (if any) will only be issued to retailers.
Effective Wednesday, July 1, RON 95 petrol will be priced at RM2.15 (up 10 sen compared to June), RON 97 petrol at RM2.55 (up 20 sen), diesel at RM2.05 (unchanged) and Euro 5 diesel at RM2.15 (unchanged). As before, the price of RON 97 is inclusive of 6% GST.
If you're still undecided between using RON 95 or RON 97, be sure to read our real-world fuel test comparing the two petrol grades.
