Demonstrating a car's safety systems via driving stunts is pretty common, but how about showing off safety kit via a failed driving stunt? That is the creative way Mazda chose for this CX-5 ad.
The one minute ad shows half a dozen CX-5s going through a synchronised routine on salt flats. Very precisely coordinated driving, with a matching soundtrack as well.
The routine shows off Mazda's i-Activsense suite of safety systems, which includes Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC), Rear Vehicle Monitoring (RVM is like Volvo's BLIS blind spot warning) and Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) auto braking. i-Activsense is available locally in the Mazda 6 facelift and CKD Mazda 3, while the CX-5 facelift surfaced in Malaysia last month.
We won't spoil it for you, so check out the ad yourself. While you're at it, below are a the latest Mazda ads of the 2, 3, 6 and CX-3 for your entertainment.
