A production prototype of Bentley's new SUV has been sighted by our Euro spy photogs, and we're glad to see it's wearing a different, more palatable face compared to the EXP 9 F Concept from two years ago.
The EXP 9 F arranged Bentley's signature twin round headlamps in a top and bottom arrangement on each side, but the production car protoype you see here reverts to arranging them side by side like Bentley's sedans and coupes.
The SUV will most likely get a 2015 debut, with production scheduled to begin in 2016. Both a regular engine as well as a plug-in hybrid option are expected to be available.
The hybrid option was previewed at Beijing 2014 installed in a Mulsanne - it featured a 6.75 litre twin-turbo V8 mated to an electric motor, with an estimated output of 630 horsepower, approximately 25% more than the combustion engine's 505 horsepower.
