The Jaguar F-Type coupe was recently previewed at the Malaysian International Gourmet Festival which was held at the Sunway Convention Centre. Two variants of the coupe were on display - the F-Type S and the F-Type R.
Interested parties are now welcomed to place their orders at respective Jaguar Land Rover showrooms across Malaysia as the order books are now open. The launch of the car is scheduled to take place in the middle of October.
The F-Type coupe is expected to be available in all three variants when the car is launched, similar what is being offered with its convertible cousin, which is now available in Malaysia.
The base coupe and the 'S' variant are powered by a 3.0 litre supercharged V6, pumping out 340 hp and 380 hp respectively. Torque figures measure in at 450 Nm for the base model and 460 Nm for the 'S' version.
The F-Type R coupe, on the other hand, gets a 5.0 litre supercharged V8 developing 550 hp and 680 Nm of torque. All models get an 8-speed automatic transmission. As of now, prices are still unconfirmed.
