Subaru US will debut a new Impreza for the 2015 model year later this year. The refreshed model will come with Subaru's "EyeSight" technology, making it the first Impreza sold in the States to feature it.

Apart from the inclusion of said system, the new Subaru Impreza will sport slightly redesigned front grille, bumper, head lights and fog light covers. The design of the side mirrors have been altered to reduce blind spots and allow for better forward visibility.

For the sedan body style, a spoiler has been integrated into the edge of the rear boot lid, which is said to improve aerodynamic performance as well as serve as a cosmetic upgrade. Newly-designed 16-inch aluminium wheels are also offered.

Interior changes are limited to a new boot-type shift lever and a 3.5-inch LCD display with a new-generation interface that promises easier accessibility and a higher level of readability - again for increased safety. The car is powered by a 2.0 litre four-cylinder engine with Subaru's trademark boxer layout.

Performance figures include 148 hp at 6,200 rpm and 197 Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm, mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 'Lineartronic' CVT transmission. Other safety features include the addition of a reverse camera with a wider vision angle and Steering Responsive Fog Lights (SRF) - which automatically illuminate on one side when cornering.
