Lexus-GS-F-4

Lexus will soon have an answer to the BMW M5 and Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG in the form of a GS F. A prototype of it was caught testing recently, wearing only a minimal amount of camouflage. The car has already been spotted a while back so we can conclude that the final product is not too far away.

The car's styling, from what we can gather, seems to feature the now distinctive Lexus spindle grille and larger air intakes. At the rear, a reworked diffuser and four exhaust pipes complete the new performance-oriented look.

Under the hood, we can only speculate that the Lexus GS F would probably arrive with a variant of the 5.0 litre naturally-aspirated V8 engine from the RC F - which is available in Malaysia. In the RC F, the unit pumps out 470 hp at 7,100 rpm and 530 Nm of torque between 4,800 rpm to 5,600 rpm.

Transmission would most likely be the 8-speed automatic gearbox found in the RC F. No news on when Lexus plans to introduce the car to the public but rest assured that we will be seeing an expansion in the Lexus 'F' performance portfolio soon enough.
