Renowned Japanese tuner Wald International has applied its infamous 'Black Bison' treatment to the latest newcomer in the compact luxury SUV segment - the Lexus NX. As expected, matters get a whole lot more aggressive (good or bad, it's up to you) with the NX getting kitted out with a plethora of aesthetic add-ons.

Starting with its distinctive front end, the boffins at Wald have continued on the 'Spindle' grille design with the inclusion of a mesh-type front chin spoiler, replete with LED lights flanking the air intakes on either side. Elsewhere, the wheel arches have been extended by an additional 15 mm while an 'Arrow Head Panel' feature now resides on the rear door.

Sticking out against a dark backdrop, red vinyls bearing the Wald name stretch from aft of the front wheels and terminate fore of the rear ones. Pictured here are two-toned, turbine-esque 22-inch wheels while a closer look at the catalogue reveals several more options including hilariously-sized 24-inch designs.

Moving further back, a new spoiler sits just above the tail lamp assembly. Further down, a radically-styled rear bumper features twin LED lights arranged in a vertical outlook - the inclusion of which necessitates a muffler adaptor for the 200t variant. As for matters under the bonnet and on the inside, things remain as they are with no changes quoted by Wald International.
