Audi A8 Sport 01

Audi has introduced a new variant for the A8, but it is only available for the UK.

The car will be based on the short wheel base Audi A8, and will be replacing the previous gen A8 Sport executive. The car will feature Audi's new MatrixBeam LED headlights technology. This new technology will dim its light beams that would shine directly unto oncoming vehicles or pedestrians, but it will continue to shine full light between or around them.This is possible because the LED high beams are individually split into numerous light-emitting diodes.

It will come with 19-inch alloy wheels,sportier side skirts and front and rear treatments that originally found on the flagship Audi S8. Audi has not said much about the interior, but it is confirmed that the car will come with Valcona leather upholstery,GPS navigation and a 600-watt Bose audio system.

Two TDI engines will be made available. The first is the 3.0 litre V6 TDI that churns out 260 hp and the second will be a 4.2 litre V8 TDI that develops 400 hp 850 Nm of torque. This 4.2 litre will push the car from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds.
