A road closure and traffic diversions will be in place at Persiaran Jengka (on the SS17 side) from April 21 until the end of the year, Bernama reports.

According to Prasarana Malaysia Bhd, a 300-metre northbound stretch of the road will be closed to facilitate the construction of Station 5 of the Kelana Jaya LRT Line Extension Project.

Prasarana offered two alternative routes - motorists coming from the New Pantai Expressway (NPE) towards Subang Parade will be diverted on to Jalan SS17/2, rejoining Persiaran Jengka after Jalan SS17/2J.

Motorists travelling on Jalan SS17/2 towards the NPE, however, will be redirected to Jalan SS17/2L. They will then need to turn left on to Jalan SS17/3 and take another left into Jalan SS17/3A before rejoining Jalan SS17/2.

Flagmen will be deployed and early warning signs will be displayed to alert motorists of the road closure and diversions, Prasarana said. Motorists in the area are reminded to exercise caution and adhere to advance warning signs.
