It has only been a few days since the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe was finally revealed. Now we have renderings of a C-Class convertible, courtesy of the folks at rmcardesign.com, and it really looks appealing.
While the CLK coupe and convertible are not with us anymore, the E-Class coupe and convertibles have certainly made their mark. Now we have the 2016 C-Class Coupe, which has become the benchmark of style and refinement for the C-Class range.

This convertible is a reimagined Coupe, just without the roof. Reports suggest that this convertible will likely have a soft fabric roof like the current E-class convertible, and perhaps even feature an optional 'Airscarf' and wind deflector above the windshield. It has to be stressed though that these are just rumours at this stage.
Apparently, the C-Class convertible will probably be sold with a host of four and six cylinder diesel and petrol engines. While there may not be a C63 AMG version of this convertible in the works, wouldn't it be something to look forward to if it really did come to fruition? Until the drop-top comes about, we'll just have to feast our eyes on the Coupe.
