A soft launch for the compact SUV will happen in the third week of June, which is less than a month from now. The M4's arrival is not a surprise, because a left-hand drive example has been living in the Green Oranges showroom in Glenmarie since January, and ads soliciting bookings appeared on oto.my in March. A starting price of RM50k has been suggested. The Great Wall Haval M4 is powered by a 1.5 litre engine with 105 hp and 138 Nm. The VVT-equipped unit will be available with manual and automatic transmissions in Malaysia, and the latter could be in conjunction with 4WD. The compact SUV will be locally assembled in Gurun, Kedah. RM50k compact SUV anyone?
