Suzuki will be premiering two concept models - a hatchback and a compact SUV - in Geneva next month. The Suzuki iK-2 (seen above) previews an all-new hatch, and the lines struck up by the silhouette bear more than a passing resemblance to the upcoming YRA five-door hatch, which was spied late last year, suggesting that this is the preview of the car.
Initial reports from India offer the view that the car will sit above the Swift, being larger and more premium in outlook, and in the subcontinent will compete against the likes of the Hyundai Elite i20, Volkswagen Polo and Honda Jazz.
As for the little SUV, that one's called as the iM-4. The chunky offering you're looking at might well offer the first glimpse of the new Jimny - the replacement for the long-serving third-gen JB43 (which was launched here in late 2013) is reportedly arriving sometime in 2017.
Hints come in the form of accompanying descriptive text, which describes the model as an iconic mini 4x4, an all-new proposal packed with the automaker's compact 4x4 DNA and new technologies. More on the duo when Geneva kicks off.
