The mad Nissan Juke-R 2.0 is headed for small-scale production, with an initial number of 17 units planned according to reports. The monster Juke made its debut at the recent Goodwood Festival of Speed billed as a concept.
The Juke-R's second coming is powered by a variant of the Nissan GT-R Nismo's twin-turbocharged 3.8 litre V6 engine that pumps out 600 hp and 652 Nm of torque. Power goes to all four wheels via a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox, as per the supercar killer.
No performance figures were released with the 2.0, but the original Juke-R, which had 'just' 485 hp, managed the 0-100 km/h sprint in 3.7 seconds and had a top speed of 257 km/h. Just imagine what this fella can do.
The transformation from cute B-segment SUV to batshit crazy machine includes body armour such as a heavily-reworked carbon front bumper with larger air intakes, flared wheel arches, restyled carbon side skirts, a split rear spoiler and new carbon bumper with a diffuser that houses twin pipes. GT-R wheels, too.
