The Peugeot 208 GTi 30th celebrates 30 years of Peugeot's GTi models, so what better way to promote it than with an commercial that celebrates the original 205 GTi ad as well?

It starts off with recreated footage from the 205 GTi ad from 1984, which features some aerial fire. And then it just gets crazy - watch the 208 GTi 30th dodge aerial fire from planes and helicopters with some pretty insane moves. It even involves the 208 GTi 30th jumping over a helicopter in one scene.

More than just a 208 GTi with a two-tone paint job, the 208 GTi 30th gets a more powerful engine that produces 208 hp and 300 Nm - about eight horses and 25 Nm more than the regular 208 GTi. The brakes have been uprated too - they're now 323 mm diameter and 28 mm thick discs up front with Brembo fixed four-piston calipers.

Power goes through a Torsen limited slip differential to the front wheels, like in the RCZ R. The ESP and traction control have been recalibrated to be less intrusive and to "set free the vehicle's traction and allow the LSD to operate". The suspension has also been lowered by 10 mm. Finally, the track is wider by 22 mm at the front and 16 mm at the rear.
