From the looks of it, the Peugeot 508 facelift is due to make its Malaysian appearance anytime soon. Teased on Peugeot Malaysia's Facebook page, the rejuvenated D-segment competitor was first unveiled to the public way back in June 2014 - close to five years since the launch of the pre-facelifted variant.

Now as far as teaser shots go, this one is pretty convincing as only the head and taillight assemblies are pictured. With that said, we pretty much know how the whole car looks like and what lies beneath the restyled sheetmetal. In Malaysia, expect the 508 facelift to come powered by a new THP165 engine.

Unfortunately, the teaser shot refrains from any mention of a launch date, instead only asking us to "stay tuned for more." However, with teasers like these already out in the open, a Q2 launch for the 508 doesn't seem so far-fetched, after all.
