The Seat 20V20 concept has been unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and is set to preview the Spanish automaker's first crossover when the production version hits the assembly line next year. The moniker stands for 'Vision 2020' and is presented as a "systematic development of the Spanish carmaker's seductive design language."

In terms of aesthetics, the Seat 20V20 appears to have nailed it with its chunky, squared-off persona. The front grille is reminiscent of the ones found on current Seat models, albeit with sharper lines drawn in. The full LED head lamp assembly on this concept is one feature we hope to see on the finished article.

Moving back, the Seat 20V20 wears massive, two-tone 20-inch wheels and is shod with what appears to be Bridgestone Dueler tyres. Elsewhere, black side skirts and the obligatory set of roof rails complete the profile while chrome door handles sit that sit flush within the body help add a touch of class.

At the back, the tail lamps have been made to ape to the ones in front with a triangular motif. Lower down, a honeycomb-like vent sits between the rear tailgate and the diffuser, which is flanked by dual, squared-off exhaust outlets. Stare long enough and hints of a certain Audi crossover might come to mind.

While technical details remain scarce, the Seat 20V20, which is based on the MQB platform, is designed to accommodate a variety of engines from the VW Group which will include multiple TSI petrol and TDI diesel options. The transmission on this concept is of the DSG variety while drive goes to an "electronically controlled four-wheel drive" system.

Inside, the cabin remains suitably concept car-like with its large, centrally-mounted touchscreen blending into the instrument cluster. The air-con vents appear to be large, single horizontal unit that stretches from one end of the cabin to the other.

The centre console, on the other hand, looks feasible as a stubby gear selector rests amongst a plethora of buttons which will, no doubt, be used to tweak the climate control unit as well as other functions of the car - such as the all-wheel drive torque split, perhaps? An oversized start/stop button sits below the gear selector.

Two individual rear seats are featured on the concept - something that we suspect will be replaced by a bench-type layout to increase practicality on the production version. The storage compartment boasts a flexible load area that comprises of a number of compartments.
