With its concept car looks, the Range Rover Evoque still appears fresh as a daisy, even four years since it started production. Factor in the fact that the same design debuted as a concept in 2008, though, and it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that it's due for an update very soon.
The Tata-owned British company is set to unveil the 2016 Range Rover Evoque facelift at the Geneva Motor Show next month, and has released this sole image as a preview. It shows an updated headlamp signature and nothing else, but that's likely to be the most drastic design change in the mid-life update anyway.
"Our challenge has been to enhance the Evoque without diluting its iconic design," said Gerry McGovern, Land Rover Design Director and Chief Creative Officer. So don't expect the compact SUV to change a whole lot, at least in the looks department.
The 2016 Evoque will be the first Land Rover to feature full LED adaptive headlamps. Other than that, it will also include "a new engine line-up, new safety and convenience features, and interior enhancements." Look like it'll get JLR's new Ingenium engine range sooner, rather than later.
