Also making its debut at the 2015 Seoul Motor Show is the Hyundai Enduro concept, a rugged three-door crossover that is inspired by the namesake off-road racing motorcycles.
Looking very much like a lifted Veloster, the Enduro features a low, wide full-length trapezoidal grille (with aluminium "aero blades" linking it to the corners of the front bumper), slit-like headlights, blacked-out A-pillars, large black fender cladding, drag-reducing C-pillar vents and side steps to make loading and unloading of the roof bars easier.
At the rear, C-shaped tail lights frame the rear windscreen, while the large diffuser-esque bumper insert incorporates the centre-exit exhaust. There's also a drawer that slides out from underneath the tailgate for lifestyle types to store their sports equipment.
We have no idea what the inside looks like, as the company has yet to release any photos depicting the car's interior. It is said, however, that the Enduro's cabin features a combination of horizontal and vertical elements to express sportiness, toughness and endurance, with a design that wraps around the driver to create a more dynamic atmosphere.
Motorcycle-esque design cues consist of road bike-inspired spoke and handle design for the steering wheel, along with door handles designed to mimic an off-road bike's lightweight cowl. Side- and rear-view cameras replace conventional mirrors, showing the feed through a display in the overhead console.
Powering the Enduro is a turbocharged and direct-injected 2.0 litre T-GDI engine, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
