A couple of days ago, Instagram user hamad1two3 snapped some shots of the 2016 Lexus LX's rear, the vehicle sitting in what looks to be a container. Staying true to the core design leaked earlier (from the rear at least), we can guess that the front will sport a large spindle grille that makes up a hefty portion of the SUV's fascia.
What's interesting to note is that the third-generation J200 facelift would also be getting a heads-up display and what seems like navigation indicators with the said technology. It does also look as though customers will have a selection of leather interiors that range from red, black, beige and cream to choose from as well.
Passengers in the rear will be getting their own entertainment screens too, and a Remote Touch Interface will be featured as well. As was already revealed by the leaked images, the interior packs quite a few changes, appearing more upmarket and more up-to-date with current Lexus models.
Being a facelift, the engine and gearbox on the LX are expected to continue on - the LX is powered by a 5.7 litre V8 offering 383 hp and 546 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed sequential-shift transmission, and full-time 4WD will of course be present.
