Infiniti-Q30-1

The upcoming Infiniti Q30 hatchback which had its photos leaked earlier shows us a different end this time - its rear. This photo was snapped in Prague and published on Czech website Auto, where it was reportedly doing a photoshoot for a commercial.

While the shape looks similar to when it was first unveiled in concept form at the 2013 Frankfurt Motorshow, the differences between the concept model and the one you see here is quite visible if looked at closely.

Apart from those rims, the rear bumpers have been switched to black cladding instead while red reflectors have also been added. The exhaust tailpipes also looks like they've been swapped out for squarer ones, while the two-tone roof seems to be no more. From an angle, the Q30 also looks somewhat higher than the concept car.

Leaked photos show a '2.2d' badge stuck on the side which likely refers to a four-cylinder Mercedes-Benz diesel engine. The Q30 will be built on Mercedes-Benz's Modular Front Architecture (MFA) platform. The premium compact will be produced in Sunderland, UK.
